Maternity Cover Childcare Play Assistant
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Maternity Cover Childcare Play Assistant. This role will involve supporting the day-to-day activities in our childcare facility, including engaging in play activities with children, ensuring their safety and well-being, and assisting with daily routines.
Key Responsibilities:
– Engage with children in play activities to support their physical, emotional, and social development
– Maintain a safe and secure environment for children at all times
– Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
– Follow policies and procedures to ensure the health and safety of all children in our care
– Collaborate with other team members to plan and implement age-appropriate activities for children
– Assist with the daily maintenance of the Little Bears HQ, including sanitising and dis-infecting toys after each session

Qualifications and Skills:
– Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting is essential
– Childcare qualification or relevant training is required
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team
– Passion for working with children and supporting their development

Barista
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Barista to join our team at our sister company, LB’s Coffee Shop. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, as well as cakes, to our customers in a fast-paced environment. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and have a positive experience during their visit.
Duties and Responsibilities:
– Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
– Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
– Take customer orders and accurately input them into the register
– Prepare and present beverages according to company specifications
– Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work station and customer seating areas
– Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure the health and wellbeing of our customers and team members
– Provide exceptional customer service and address any customer concerns or inquiries
– Keep track of inventory and notify management when supplies need to be replenished
– Assist with opening and closing duties, such as cleaning, stocking, and cash handling
– Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation

Qualifications:
– Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role
– Knowledge of coffee and tea preparation techniques
– Excellent customer service skills
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
– Attention to detail and ability to multitask
– Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities
– Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
